Rhodes lies between Piraeus and Cyprus, it was long considered a bridge between Europe and the East.
There are daily hydrofoil schedules between Rhodes and Marmaris. Today it is still considered a stepping stone between all the Dodecanese Islands and most of these can be reached almost daily by ferries and hydrofoils.
